97.7 The Beat of the Capital is preparing for its second Rock the Runway 2013 premiere charity fashion event in Jackson, Mississippi on Friday, January, 25, 2013 at the Jackson Convention Complex. The station is very excited to add to the dynamic team of talent by continuing to bring premiere partners and organizations on-board. For this year’s occasion, 97.7 has partnered with Joe Usry Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and The Jackson Convention Complex as headlining partners for the event. This exclusive fashion event features and highlights local vendors, boutiques, designers, and talent in Jackson and surrounding areas.

[box_light]The Rickey Smiley Morning Show’s Gary with the Tea returns to the city as the official host of the event along with 97.7’s very own Midday Diva Tambra Cherie as the official co-host. Each year, 97.7 carefully chooses a local charity, which presents an immediate need of assistance and works diligently with the community we serve. This year’s Rock the Runway 2013 will benefit The Stewpot’s Matt’s House, emergency shelter for women and children, along with Sims House, a women and children’s transitional shelter located right here in Jackson.[/box_light]

The event will take place Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Jackson Convention Complex, kicking off at 6:30 pm with the exclusive Denim Magazine social hour lounge until 7:30 featuring live musical talent, and the Joe Usry Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Red Carpet starting promptly at 7 pm. The fashion show starts immediately following at 8pm. Tickets are on sale now at the 97.7 Roberts Broadcasting studios, located at 745 N State St., along with Sterling Photography studios, The Hair Boutique, and Posh Boutique. Advance tickets are $25.00. However, you can purchase general admission tickets the day of the show at the door. A limited number of reserve seats are available as well.  VIP tickets can be purchased for $35.00.
