The Jackson Showboats, a semi-professional men’s basketball team, officially introduce team and partners to the Jackson metro-area today.
The Jackson Showboats is an expansion team of the highly-competitive American Basketball Association league. Players who make it on the Jackson Showboats team have the opportunity to further their basketball career to the NBA, the NBA’s Development League and overseas leagues. The Showboats will begin their inaugural seven-month playing season in November. The team will travel across the country to take on competitive teams in the ABA league.
