Savvy Lifestyle Magazine caught up with Hip Hop artist Talib Kweli at a recent  Rap Sessions: Community Dialogues on Hip Hop. Kweli was a guest panelist for “Hip-Hop Activism in the Obama/Tea Party Era,” a community dialogue on the ways race and gender discussions in national culture have evolved since the 2008 election. For the last six years, Rap Sessions, the first national tour of its kind, has brought townhall style meetings to scores of cities across the country.
